Many people disagree, but I still think living in a wintery wasteland is the way to wait out the zombie apocalypse. Especially if you lived on top of a mountain with long, steep dirt roads, only accessible by tracked vehicle and far to far and high for any zombie to bother venturing. Just pull up a trailer full of supplies with a tractor someone left laying around and you’re golden for a while.
Everybody wants an exciting and fast moving survival story but what would really be great, would be to live in a lookout tower on top of a mountain year round and only go down for supplies once in a while, grow your veggies 1/2 the year, and sit by the fire and read a good book the rest of the time, while the zombies slowly rot away.
Starting with a kit car, you can modify the frame as needed to install front sleds and rear tracks!
